Julia Mariko Jacoby, born in 1986, studied History, Latin and Geology at the University of Freiburg and graduated with an M.A. in 2013. In 2007 and 2008, she spent two semesters at the Ritsumeikan University in Kyoto, where she mostly studied Japanese History. Since 2014, she teaches East Asian History at the University of Freiburg and works on her PhD thesis.

Main research interests include the history of natural disasters, Japanese media history, history of knowledge, and World War II in East Asia.

ヤコビ・茉莉子（1986年〜）

フライブルク大学（ドイツ）にて近現代史、ラテン語、地質学を専攻。2007年から立命館大学への一年間の留学を経て、2013年、マギスター（修士）号を取得。現在は、フライブルク大学東洋史研究室で教鞭を執りつつ、博士論文を執筆中。専門は近現代日本災害史、メディア史、知識史、第二次世界大戦等。

Julia Mariko Jacoby，出生于1986年，曾在弗莱堡大学攻读历史学、

拉丁语及地质学，并于2013年取得文学硕士学位。2007年至2008年在日本京都立命馆大学学习了两个学期的日本史。自2014年起在弗莱堡大学执教，教授科目为东亚史，并在此期间撰写其博士论文。主要研究方向为自然灾害史、日本媒体史、认识历史及东亚第二次世界大战。
